CATIL Quintet believe in the power of music education and strive to make music accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
The ensemble have visited City of Norwich School and its local Guildhall Young Artists centre in 2023 and 2025. They gave several recital presentations in assemblies for different age groups as well as leading a masterclass for GCSE and A level students. This provided the children a great opportunity to perform to their peers and to receive feedback in a friendly and positive environment.
The group visited Barnet Education Arts Trust in November to coach the wind ensembles and give an informal performance. There was time to ask questions and have discussions about playing a wind instrument, the musicians' different journeys into the industry and chamber music skills.
